Soul Heroes Guide

Form a party and climb the Tower of Samsara. When you get stuck, check your heroes' levels and equipment, and try a formation that matches the enemy's element.

Once the Estate opens, follow the guidance: harvest resources → upgrade the Main Hall and Barracks → train soldiers → make your first sortie. Heroes you raise in the Tower become commanders who lead soldiers in your Estate.

Use the 'Estate' button on the home screen. If it is still locked, meet the Tower progress requirement shown on the button first.

Develop buildings and prepare soldiers in your Estate, then go to the World Map to gather and hunt. The World Map may have a different unlock requirement from the Estate, so follow the on-screen guidance.

In Fire → Wind → Earth → Lightning → Water → Fire, each element is strong against the next. Attacking with an advantageous element increases damage; a disadvantageous one reduces damage. Matching elements and pairs outside this sequence have no effect.

The sequence is the same in the Tower and Estate battles. However, elemental advantages have a smaller effect in Estate battles than in the Tower.

A party has 5 heroes: 2 front row positions and 3 back row positions. Put durable heroes in front and damage dealers and healers in back.

Melee attacks target surviving front row heroes first. Some attacks target the back row, so it is not always safe there. Review battle results and try changing positions.

Material quantities vary with the hero's rarity and stage. Check the growth screen for what the next stage needs.

Growth also matters in your Estate. Higher levels, stars, and Transcendence let commanders bring more soldiers, and higher stars strengthen commander skills. (See Heroes and Estate combat.)

The Legendary and Mythic guarantee gauges build up separately.

• Summoning a Legendary or higher hero resets the Legendary gauge.
• The Mythic gauge only resets when you summon a Mythic hero. A Legendary hero does not reset it.
• If you go a long time without a Mythic hero, the Mythic chance gradually increases.

Equipment can be enhanced to +30. Its stats increase at each stage, with much larger increases per stage from +25.

From +25, an Enhancement Protection Ticket saves your equipment on failure. The ticket is only consumed on failure. Check stage-specific success chances on the Equipment enhancement probabilities page.

Mythic exclusive weapons also become stronger in Estate battles. Higher enhancement increases elemental damage there, especially from +25. (See Mythic exclusive weapons.)

There are 6 slots: weapon, armor, cloak, ring, talisman, and relic. Equipping different pieces of the same set on one hero activates set effects. Two copies of the same piece do not increase the piece count.

A Mythic set can only be worn by its hero. Collecting pieces increases attack, defense, and maximum HP in order. Earlier effects remain active when you collect more pieces.

Sets also work in Estate battles, strengthening the troop types led by that hero. (See Set bonuses for troops.)

Go to Bag → Craft → Mythic Craft, select a hero, and craft an exclusive weapon or set piece. The material is a Mythic Core; non-weapon pieces also use Gold. Required amounts appear on the crafting screen.

Getting Mythic Cores: convert spare shards from fully developed heroes into Mythic Cores.

• For Legendary or higher heroes, conversion opens after both maximum stars and Transcendence V are complete.
• Fewer Mythic hero shards than Legendary hero shards are needed for 1 Mythic Core.
• Unconverted shards remain as they are.

In Bag → Craft, the Legendary Weapons tab crafts hero-exclusive weapons, while Legendary Sets crafts set pieces. The material is Legendary Ore; set pieces also use Gold.

Collect Legendary Ore from Weekly Bosses, Expeditions, the Forgotten Path, and Clan activities. An exclusive weapon can only be equipped by its hero.

Your Estate uses four resources—Food, Wood, Stone, and Mana—to develop buildings and prepare soldiers.

Before upgrading, check the resources, prerequisite buildings, and time required.

Choose the effect you currently need at the Research Lab. Research has lab level, prerequisite research, and resource requirements. Some research requires joining a Clan.

Research takes effect after it is complete.

Choose a troop type and quantity at the Barracks to train soldiers. Higher tier soldiers unlock after meeting Barracks level and research requirements.

Heal soldiers wounded in battle with resources at the Healing House. Always check for available space before a sortie.

Battle reports list wounded, lightly wounded, and fallen soldiers separately.

Select a resource site on the World Map and send an Airship. The amount you can bring depends on your troops' carrying capacity and the site's remaining resources.

Resources arrive after the Airship returns to your Estate. If you recall it early, it brings what it has gathered so far.

Tap a monster camp or fortress to check the enemy and rewards before a sortie. Remaining troops, wounded soldiers, and rewards matter as much as winning or losing. Hunting rewards also arrive after your Airship returns.

Matching elements makes things easier. Monsters have elements. Tap an enemy on the map to see which Airship element has an advantage. Send a Commander or Airship skin that beats the enemy's element.

You can attack a fortress alone, or use a Clan rally if it is too difficult.

A Storm Whale is a powerful opponent challenged through Clan rallies. When the Clan leader schedules a whale, it appears at the arranged time. Check its difficulty and time remaining in the event information and prepare a rally with Clanmates.

Whales also have elements. A Commander and skin that beat the whale's element deal more damage. Mix different commander skill types in a rally. (See Rallies and commander skills.)

Pirate Raid is a defense event where pirates attack your Estate in waves. Attacks continue over several waves, with bosses in the middle and at the end.

Check your defense troops and Healing House space beforehand, and send reinforcements to protect Clanmates. Another attack follows soon after each defense, so keep checking troops and healing.

Tower heroes become commanders in your Estate. Each troop can have 1 Commander and 1 Deputy.

• Commander: leads the troop. Their skills apply in full.
• Deputy: assists the Commander. Their skills apply at slightly reduced strength.
• The Deputy position opens when the Main Hall reaches the required level.
• A commander already on a sortie cannot join another troop.

The number of soldiers you can bring increases with the Commander's level, stars, and Transcendence. Main Hall upgrades and research increase it further. The Deputy does not increase troop capacity. Your final capacity appears on the formation screen.

There are four soldier types: Swordsmen, Archers, Mages, and Shieldbearers.

Each commander specializes in a troop type. Bringing that type makes the troop stronger.

Resonance: a Commander and Deputy with the same faction or same element increase troop attack and defense. Match both to receive both effects. Research can improve Resonance further.

Element: in Estate battles, the troop uses the Commander hero's element. The sequence matches the Tower: Fire → Wind → Earth → Lightning → Water → Fire.

In Soul Heroes, the heroes you raise in the Tower become your Estate commanders. There is no need to raise them separately.

Time spent raising heroes while climbing the Tower also strengthens you in Estate battles and Clan competition.

Roles in the Tower carry over into Estate battles. Healers revive soldiers, shield heroes prevent damage, and buffers strengthen allies.

What strengthens skills: higher hero rarity, stars, and Transcendence. Estate research can improve them too. Commanders use skills in full; Deputies use them at slightly reduced strength.

Battle replays show the hero's portrait and Ultimate effects when skills trigger. Battle reports show soldiers revived, damage prevented, and damage added by each skill.

Parentheses show secondary effects that apply alongside the main effect. Secondary effects are weaker than the main effect.

Combination tip: different skill types on your Commander and Deputy cover more weaknesses. Try a Focus Commander + Shield Deputy, or an Area Commander + Healing Deputy.

When a Mythic hero equips their own exclusive weapon and joins as Commander or Deputy, it adds extra damage of that hero's element.

• Enhancement increases it. It rises at each stage, with much larger increases per stage from +25.
• It deals more damage against enemies weak to that element and less against those strong against it.
• Against other lords, the effect is weaker than against monsters.

That makes enhancement beyond +25 worth attempting with Protection Tickets ready.

Mythic sets strengthen different troop types depending on the hero. Effects apply to the troop they lead, at slightly reduced strength when they are a Deputy.

Awakened Command activates with all 6 Mythic set pieces and that hero's Mythic exclusive weapon enhanced to +25 or higher. Their troop becomes stronger when attacking an enemy base and defending your own. 'Awakened Command' appears in commander information and the sortie screen, and as a gold border in replays.

The rally organizer's Commander and Deputy provide the core skills, while participating Clanmates' Commanders contribute some of theirs. Estate defense and reinforcement work the same way (the defending lord is central, and reinforcing Clanmates participate).

• Stacking several skills of the same type gives diminishing effects. A mix of Healing, Shield, Area, and Focus is stronger than five healers.
• A commander wearing the complete Bellua Mythic set contributes stronger skills even as a participant.
• Airship skin elements follow the rally organizer's skin. Have someone with a skin that beats the enemy's element start the rally.
• Before a rally, discuss who will bring which skills in Clan chat.

Equipping a skin changes the Airship's appearance on the map and its Ultimate effects, and adds troop effects specific to that skin. Check the skin screen to see owned skins, your equipped skin, and effects.

Only the one currently equipped skin applies its effects. Check the remaining duration of time-limited skins too.

Rally fleet: when you start a rally, your Airship becomes the lead ship with the Clan flag. Participating Clanmates' Airships appear from the summoning circle in the skins they have equipped, then fly together.

Each Airship skin has an element. A skin element that beats the enemy's element deals extra damage. There is no penalty if it loses. Switching skins to match the enemy is therefore an advantage.

• The Commander hero's elemental advantage and skin effect are added separately. Matching both gives the strongest result.
• Effects apply in full against monsters, fortresses, Storm Whales, and pirates, and at reduced strength against other lords.
• The sortie screen displays the enemy's element and your matchup in one line. It updates immediately when you change skins.
• In a rally, the organizer's skin element applies to the whole rally. Participants' skin elements do not stack.

Join rallies through the rally list or Clan chat. Clan-designated members can also start rallies.

Fortress rally resource rewards are divided by the carrying capacity of troops surviving the battle. Everyone does not receive the same amount.

Clanmates build progress through donations, and the Clan leader starts research.

Help: Clanmates reduce the remaining time of ongoing construction, research, and healing. Training cannot receive help. Help each other through the help list.

Gifts: when a Clanmate defeats an eligible monster camp or fortress, a Clan gift appears. Members who were in the Clan when it appeared can claim it, within its claim period.

Skyway Duel is a Clan-versus-Clan competition for points over 6 days. Each day's theme changes which activities earn the most points.

• Activities outside the day's theme still earn a few points. But saving speedup items for the matching day is much more effective.
• Personal chests unlock in stages as you earn points.
• Everyone in the Clan that wins the day's score receives a victory chest, with weekly rewards after all 6 days.
• Opponents are Clans of similar strength.

The Duel Rankings screen lists members of both Clans together in one ranking by personal score. Your own rank stays fixed at the bottom.

• At daily settlement, "Today's Skyway Number One" is announced in both Clans' chat and news.
• The winner has a crown on their Estate nameplate for the next day.
• The week's winners remain in the Hall of Fame.
• Rewards are cosmetic, such as titles and borders. They do not increase stats.

Skyway Duel results lead into the League, with 5 tiers: Cloud → Wind → Lightning → Star → Sky.

• New Clans start in the Cloud League.
• Duel opponents come from the same League.
• Weekly results promote top Clans and demote bottom Clans.
• Higher Leagues have larger weekly rewards.

Lord's Trial is a solo event for earning growth and sortie points. Its scoring theme changes daily, so check today's theme before finishing your planned activities all at once.

During Meteor Shower, Star Shard resource sites appear on the map. Gathering speeds up during the event, and gathered amounts earn star rewards. Star Shards are sent by mail after your return.

The gathering bonus only applies during the event. Check remaining resources and the event end time before a sortie.
